Our Story
I built DreamSpark Reading because I know what it feels like when words won't cooperate. Diagnosed with dyslexia at age four, I was fortunate to have a team of educators — especially at the Atlanta Speech School — equip me with tools that changed my life. Too many students never get that chance.
When children aren't reading on grade level by third grade, they face a 4× higher risk of not graduating on time, with compounding risks to health, income, and opportunity. But that outcome isn't inevitable.
The science is clear: explicit phonics paired with language comprehension, early screening, and daily practice can reset a child's trajectory. DreamSpark exists to deliver that chance — at scale and with heart — so every child reads with confidence and shapes their own future.
